Welcome to the Kentuckiana Beekeepers Association Home Page.We are a local beekeeper group in the Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana area who meet once a month to share information with those interested in beekeeping. We have 2 Field Days (April and September) and 3 Workshops (May, June, and July) every year when we actually open up and look inside bee hives. The other months during the year we have regular meetings, which are held on the first Friday's of the month at the Bon Air Regional Library, 2816 Del Rio Place (just off Goldsmith Lane, East of Bardstown Road). If you are interested in becoming a beekeeper, visit the links under "Informational materials for Beginners" on our Interesting Links page. If you are interested in learning more about beekeeping, trapping pollen, collecting honey to sale or for personal use, cleaning bees wax, or anything else related to beekeeping, please join us at our next meeting. Our link "Next Meeting" will provide the location and time for our next meeting. Please visit our link "Meeting Schedule" for a complete list of meetings scheduled this year.
